Disable the Animations and 'GPU Acceleration'
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Graphics] "DisableHardwareAcceleration"=dword:00000001 "DisableAnimations"=dword:00000001
Disable the Start Screen
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\General] "DisableBootToOfficeStart"=dword:00000001
Disable SkyDrive
- Open "Options"
- Goto the "Save" tab
- Check "Don't show the Backstage when opening or saving files"
- Uncheck "Show additional places for saving, even if sign-in may be required"
- Check "Save to Computer by default"
Stop Opening in Reader Mode
- Open "Options"
- Goto "General"
- Uncheck "Open e-mail attachments and other uneditable files in Reading View."
- Click on the dots at the bottom, to the right of "Mail", "Calendar", etc...
- Click "Navigation Options"
- Check "Compact Navigation"
